Forbes Dawson celebrates its one year anniversary

Today marks the first anniversary of our business. It seems like only yesterday that me and our original team of five started out as Forbes Dawson LLP. We have come a long way since those early days spent operating from my kitchen table whilst we waited for our offices to be finished!
After twelve months we are now a team of 14 people, and soon to be 15. I am pleased to announce that Kelly McGurgan will be joining us from Deloitte in Manchester in the next few weeks as a Tax Consultant.
We are proud of our achievements in our inaugural year of business. We have picked out some of our key highlights below. I was particularly pleased with our first tax seminar which we hosted for professional services firms in December 2012. We had an audience of over 100 delegates attend, and the feedback was very constructive. We are currently getting arrangements in place for our next event – details of which to follow very soon.
As a team, we are also delighted with some of the comments that we have had from clients recently. Managing a handover process is never easy but clients tell us that throughout they recognise that we have strived to continue to provide the personal, friendly service that they expect – which you may recall was one of my objectives this time a year ago.
I would like to extend my thanks to all our clients and contacts who have been so supportive in the first twelve months. I am greatly optimistic that Forbes Dawson will continue to go from strength to strength in the coming months and years.
